Say, have any of you loaded a 60 hp tractor from the bed of a rollback truck to the bed of a flatbed semi trailer?

We don't have a ramp or dock here. Too wet to pull out to a bank.

1)remove headboard from rollback
2) incline angle of ramp to aproximately 35*
3)park tractor trailer directly in front of rollback
4) at high rate of speed drive tractor up rollback and jump it onto the semi trailer
5) always wear a seat belt during such loading procedures....

I get some tractors in by tractor trailer and we use a tilt bed all teh time. No problem, but you need to be careful.

Saw this done many times at dealers it's a simple thing to do you may need a couple of boards but don't worry

MUD,

I wasn't there and don't know how the operation went down, but the fellow I bought my 686 from didn't have a dock either.

The semi driver told me that the old boy loaded the tractor on his goose neck trailer first and then they somehow walked it from that trailer up onto the semi using the ramps from the gooseneck.

So, a rollback to a semi ought to be a piece of cake, if they are both locked up good.
