Hey guys my sister just sent me this and I thought ya'll would appreciate theheads up...LOL
CONCERNED ABOUT TOO MANY CARBS IN YOUR DIET?
For those of you who watch what you eat, here's the final word on nutrition Ad health.
It's a relief to know the truth after all those conflicting medical studies.

1. The Japanese eat very little fat and suffer fewer heart attacks than Americans.
2. The Mexicans eat a lot of fat and suffer fewer heart attacks than Americans.
3. The Chinese drink very little red wine and suffer fewer heart attacks than Americans. 4. The Italians drink excessive amounts of red wine and suffer fewer heart attacks than Americans. 5. The Germans drink a lot of beers and eat lots of sausages and fats and suffer fewer heart attacks than Americans.

CONCLUSION: Eat and drink what you like. Speaking English is apparently what kills you.

Just retired in Jan two years before pension kicks
in. Will sell antiques out of the new pole barn this summer. Gave up 80,000 a year for this freedom. Loving every minute of it!

I don't agree about stress being the cause of it. On average the Japanese have a much higher stress level.

Love it - I've seen that exact same type of 'logic' employed way too many times to many topics! :)

Have to agree that the stress levels of Americans could be the problem.

Take one day to slow down and notice how people live. Always in a rush to get no where. Just look at rush hour traffic in the evening to see what I mean. What are they rushing to. They are only going home and if they were to get there 2 mins. later what would that matter. But yet they rush rush rush.
People buy Cadillac’s on a VW budget so now they need to rush even more to pay all the bills.

America's problem is not what they eat it is there overwhelming problem of Keeping up with the Jones’s that creates most of there problems.

John,
Agree about the stress. I thought I had a low stress job and going to work wasn't too bad as I was on the rim of a metropolitan area and work was on my side.

But I retired and couldn't beleive the physical and emotional quiet that came over me.

Now the only thing that gets me going is conversatins on here; but they don't amount to a hill of beans so I guess I'm ok.

Friend of mine had a chart made by some guy at some big defense plant. Showed a plot of lifespan vs age when leaving the work force. It clearly showed that the longer you work, the longer you are exposed to stress and the shorter your SS check payout will be.

Best,

Mark

I'll agrre with that, I hadn't noticed how big a hurry people were in until I retired, now it looks like they are determined to kill themselves.

Yeah, that English is hard on the body. But so is the stress of taxes, insurance bills, and the hard#$$ boss that causes heart attacks too.
