Yea, that seems to be the way things go. We have been so dang wet, grass will be knee high by the end of March. Then we'll go dry and have a burning ban all summer. Sure wish we could spread this rain around and maybe save a little for later in the year. I still have trees and limbs down from our ice storm in January, been to wet to get to them with the tractor.

Our forecast is calling for snow and ice this week, just what we need...but at least my pond is full. Guess I could have a dry bowl like Mark.

I suppose I can say we have the opposite of both your situations. Up here in Central Alberta, it's still below the freezing point, with a skiff of snow on the ground. Not that I'm complaining. Much. ;-)

we might be so lucky Allan. I don't think there's enough grass in most of the pastures around here to make a very hot fire.

Hi Allan: Are you referring to the Ogalla Grasslands. I crossed over from Scotts Bluff to Custer S.D. through the grass lands several years ago(Maybe 6 when I think of it). Great area in the summer. Jerry

Wish I could help you Allen. Herre in middle TN we have had more than our share of rain. Temps go up and down but we always seem to get the rain. Another good soaking all day rain today. I have yard work to do and can not even walk in the yard without sinking...
