dozer problems

I have a International td-6 starts up on gas then swich to diesel when it is hot. I changed the fuel filters for the diesel. Know I can"t get it start what do I do?

Open the bleeders on the fuel filters and let them gravity bleed till you get fuel running out of them then go to the glass strainer and do the same then get it running on gas and crack the throttel a bit and go up on the injectors and either crack the fuel line or if they have a bleeder screw on them open or crack till ya get fuel. then it will start.

Can get it to start, or can't get it to change over to diesel? If it dies when you are changing over, then chances are you have air in the system.

Go to www.redpowermagazine then go to general board and then ask the king of obslete. he has a whole yard full of these TDs and he knows his stuff.

Yessiree the King rules when it comes to old Red Crawlers. there are a couple of others on there that are pretty durn sharp also.
