Looking for the thin, bolt-on "road rims" that attach to the steel wheels of a 1930 Farmall Regular. You know what the cleats can do to asphalt and concrete....WHile I enjoy my "Mole Masher" on the farm grounds, I"d like to drive the Regular in our annual "Rust & Dust" Heritage Fair this summer. I"ve seen the add-on road attachments in photos of restored Regulars and F-20"s, but can"t seem to find them.

I"ll check with George Rice in Pennsylvania, but would like to avoid the 8-hour drive from Michigan. Anyone have a set, know someone who does, or have a source for fabrication?

I also have an entire front-end for a Super A adjustable axle, steering unit and all, for trade if you have the road rims. I"m that desperate!

Can you remove the cleats and bolt on rubber tread from old tractor tires? I have seen them. Can your cleats be taken off?

I think most people have them made. Any steel fabrication shop should be able to roll them for you.
