I have been gone several months. Went to post a message but I can't remember my pass word. I hate to have to use a new name. Is there a way to retreive my password on this site?

If you have a computer where you can still use your handle, you can recover your password from the cookies file; it's in the cookie as clear text.

Not that I know of. I can't my regular handle because I didn't register it and somebody took it to keep me from having it. At least I'm pretty sure that's what happened because I don't see anybody using it.

When a person registers to buy on ebay there are several questions such as, what is your pets name? your mothers name? etc. As I understand it, when a person forgets their password, they click on "forgot your password?" and the system leads them through the porcess of retrieving their password. Of course they must remember how they answered the "secret" questions when they registered. If they don't, then reregistry is the only option.
