The 3 point on my tractor shakes up and down when in the upright position and the engine running. It drops when the engine is shut off in less than a minute. I have a gannon with a wheel weight on it. It lifts it no problem. I have read that it will lift 800 lbs. I don"t think this one will. It is a 1950 8N. Should I be concerned or is this normal?

Pretty normal for an old machine, worn piston, bad releif valve, etc. Can be fixed but I just lived with it on mine. Pain in the A though, as the 3pt drops every time you push the clutch in. You should get alot of replies on this. Look in the archieves, tons of info on this topic. Craig
