NAA hydraulic problem

This winter I have had a problem where the hydraulics won"t work on my Ford NAA until I take loose one of the hoses, while it"s running, which spills oil on the floor, but then it works. At times, I noticed the fluid being foamy and white? I"m told the pump is not being primed and may need the pump re-built? Not sure if I have a vane or piston pump? How do I tell? It says "hy-trol" on the right side with an adjusting nut. Other than have the pump re-built, what should I try? Change the oil? If so, what kind should I use? I"m not necessarily looking for the cheapest solution, but the best solution in the long run. Thanks in advance for any help!

Drain the oil and replace with new oil.Your oil has water in it.It may take a long time for it to all drain out and you might have to change the oil again soon afer replacing what you have in there now to finally get all the water out of the system. There are lots of nooks and crannies in that reservoir.
