gabby: These tractors offered someyhing rather unique in PTO. While it was not independent, it was live PTO by use of a two stage clutch. You push clutch pedal 1/2 way down tractor stops, push it all the way and PTO stops. The unique part was by shifting PTO engage lever opposite way you have ground drive PTO. In some areas guys would build trailers with a powered rear end. Match ratio to tractor and every time you shift gears on tractor PTO changes, thus trailer is geared with it. Makes for quite a versatile little machine.

Some 135s had IPTO, but not many. as far as i know 35s never had IPTO.

35s never had factory fitted PS. I know that a lot of later UK 135s did. It was an option in the UK i think. Dont know about american 135s.

I've seen MF-35 with a disk under the steering wheel nut saying they had power steering (though they didn't).

Power steering was an option on the 135, seems fairly commonly selected.

There were at least two PTO options on the 135, "live" and "independent." The live PTO used the double clutch, independent used a hydraulic clutch. I've seen some say the independent PTO was prone to problems.

My '68 MF-135 has power steering and the double clutch live PTO.
