I am a first time tractor owner and know very little. I bought a 18 hp 2 cyl. Hinomoto E14 tractor w/ a DS1200 Hinomoto tiller and a bushhog. Does anyone have some advice for me. I have only one source for parts and they don't carry parts for the tiller. Right now that's what need parts.
Is the Hinomoto good?? What Massey is it crossed over to?? I have heard the MF 205 & 210...

I have an E280 Hinomoto, I pick up what few parts I need at the Massey Dealer. I don't know what your model would cross out to at Massey, but if your dealer will take time to find his old parts book he can probably help you too. Case also can do it, but there's not one close to me and the closest one is a real pain in rear, but Case does have parts. That little Hinomoto is a real good light weight tractor, just keep check on oil & water. In 9 years I have put in a clutch, and alternator, that's it. We use it almost daily year round because it will crank when really cold. Good luck with yours. Jerry

I have owned a E-14 for about 5 years now. I keep hearing that you can't get parts for it, but I wouldn't know because I've never needed any. This little machine has taken whatever I've dished out, If it were to fall apart tomorrow I would have gotten my money back and more!

I bought an e14 about two years ago that the previous owner said would not run. The starter needed the brushes cleaned. Cleaned them after I got it home and has been running like a champ since then.
