I am having the ear on the clutch operating sleeve drilled out and rebushed, and the pin replaced with a standard size pin. I told the machinest to center the bushing on the ear.question is this the right position,or does it have to be off center. if so how much past center should it be. any advice highly appreciated. thanks in advance dale

It should be close to center and probabaly worn to one side from the direction of rotation. It should end up so that the holes for the toggles in it line up with the holes in the dogs at the outer rim of the pulley.
