I have 93 WT1500 chevy pickup with 4.3 v6.Uses no oil.Runs good.But recently has no power.Changed plugs,wires,cap,rotor,fuel filter.Any suggestions on what to try? Has 118k on it.

My 1995 did the same thing, no power made a whistling noise on a pull. Replaced the cat. converter and muffler. That solved the problem. The converter is expensive.

fuel pump? pressure regulators on them sometmies go bad. air filter. theres a sock over the pump in the tank they rarely get plugged but can suck up garbage if you ran the tank low.

The factory cat converter are restrictive to start with, and by the symptoms you describe, I would replace it.

I had a 91 WT1500,cat plugged up on me at about 140,000..seriously low on power,then got worse once it plugged up (grin)

The EGR valve was bad on my Astro Van.

Sounds like time for the compression gauge to do alittle check out of the top end.First dry if low squirt oil in cyls. If it goes up ;rings If it stays the same but still low on reading its up top more in the valves.
