Just wondering, I've seen lots of guys talk about their Fords, and I was curious to just how many of you were Ford guys.

I have a Jubilee, wonderful tractor.

15 months ago I traded my Explorer. 284,386 miles on a 93. Best car I ever had. Virtually no problems for 10 years.

My wife just got rid of a 98 F-150 that was possessed. The worst truck we ever had. She went Chevy.

Actually I'm a Ford, MF, AC, Farmall, JD, Int man. But that old 79 4X4 Ford pickup will probably out live me.

The Blue Ford Cobra in the pic is mine as well - What do you think? It is quite a conversation piece when people come to our house - my 560 horsepower modified 2003 Ford Cobra Mustang right next to my currently disassembled 1954 Ford NAA tractor in the same garage.

Oh - and I have a 2004 Ford Expedition, a 1997 Ford F-150, a 1948 Ford 8N, and a 1952 Ford 8N as well.

I bleed BLUE.

Wow, that is great our family pretty much bleeds blue also. My dad has a 2003 Cobra in Sonic blue along side a little '52 8N. How did you get 560 HP out of your Mustang?

Die hard Chevy man here. Only Ford I had was '67 three on the tree 4x4. Most cold blooded rig I ever owned but it was tough!

I've had three Ford trucks -- a '71 F-100, '84 F150 4X4, and a '95 Bronco. Loved 'em all. the '84 4X4 had posi in both axles, what a snowmobile, never had that truck stuck in 11 years. Totalled it during an ice storm or I would still be driving it. Hate Ford tractors, never saw one that was worth a @#$%^.
Now, on the other hand, the president of our antique engine club collects Ford tractors and won't drive anything other than a Chevy. Go figure :)

Farmall tractors, but Ford trucks. At present I only have 4 Ford trucks, a '50 F-6 flatbed, a '82 Econoline van, a '90 Ranger and a '95 F-150. I'm also building my wife a '29 A Tudor to be powered with the 302 out of the Econoline.

I don't like them but respect an old 1971 1/2 ton Ford 2WD pickup 302 with three in the tree. It was a great field bomber with the differential welded solid.Amazing where it would go with a pair of good mud/snow tires. Exhaust cut off just past the manifolds, re-jetted carb, cam timing adavance back to the 1970 210HP rating. The rusty front and rear fenders, hood along with the door skins were tossed in the scrap pile. The ground was visible through some parts of the cab, wasn't through the windows either. 98,000 miles and reved it in 1st or 2nd gear until points bounce limited rpms to about 5500rpm. Pile of fun, noise and a few adventures along the way. Used to heap the box to the max with maple firewood blocks to haul firewood up from the bush. Never did break it. My brother sold it for scrap during a cleanup binge and because I enjoyed it so much.

I have owned & enjoyed Ford tractors for 40 years now & was sad to see Ford get out of the tractor business. New Holland is NOT a Ford. I have only owned ONE Ford vehicle & will NEVER own another.

I came from a GM family. I traded my 85 camaro for a used 92 ranger. Now ten years later I can say the guy at the local repair shop no longer knows my name.

I'd like to think we were all tractor guys, and not worry about colors so much. Don't see the point to starting a bickering fest on this - again.

Who cares what you got, enjoy it & have fun with it.

I'm a dyed in the wool Ford guy with 900 & 901 pullers, a 971D that pulls the rake and an 8240 that pulls the mower and baler. I also run a 'stroker to pull the tractors. I say stand up for your color loud & proud, but do it politely.

We had Fords, Fergusons,Farmalls and one Cockshutt in the following order as best I can remember.

F-12 Farmall 1942-3.used TE-20 Ferguson 1948? TO-30 Ferguson 1952 Traded in F-12 641 Ford 1958 850 Ford, traded in TE-20 used Farmall Super M used Ford 2000 3cyl.lpto and 4by2 tranny. Trded in the 641. Cockshutt 30 with F-10 Farmhand loader. used Framall 706 ger. used. Farmall 300 used. Farmall M with F-10 Farmhand loader. Let the Super M and the Ford 2000 go on Dads cleanup sale. Big mistake.

Sold Cockshutt to a friend who has since restored it. Can be seen at Stuhr Museum at Grand Island NE at their fall steam and threshing show. 2002. Retired, sold out and moved south.
Health concerns due to injury accidents and Parkinsons.

Just bought new Ford Falcon XR6, in line 6 cyl, twin O.H.C., 4 valves per cylinder 4 litre.Puts out 182 KW in standard form, 240 kw in factory turbo. Rev heads are easily tweeking them up to 300kw with minor mods, do you have this engine in USA? cheers.

That engine is only a dream in America. Ford doesn't have a turbo charged engine in its entire US car line up that I'm aware of. Other then the Mustang its lagging behind ALL makers in automobile engines.
