What's the correct name for land plows that have two blades-one on each side? Designed so that you don't have to drive all the way back to the beginning of your row--You can just turn around and start again. What's a good price to buy such an animal at? It's an International 2 pth that's big and rugged with big 14 or 16" blades.

Check here and in the farmall forum for rollover. Been quite a bit of discussion and pix of them lately.
Ask Allan in NE . He should be showing up here.

Hi Ya Dave!

Yep, just bring up the subject of a spinner plow; it's the easiest way I know of to get tar and feathered. :>)

LOL! Noticed that. Then I looked and didn't see your name for the last couple days here or in farmall. Was almost afraid to drag you in.
Was talking to my bro in law who was a real farmer here in NE IL and we didn't think either of us had actually ever seen one.

Definitely never saw or even heard of those whirley devils until I saw your posts awhile back.

I'am looking for the 013automatic lockout kit,for the two-way plow. This is the item that is bolted to the the old Ford 9aa tractor, it has a handle,( or my father would say a throwout.) This is the item that makes the plow work. We have the plow and the arm that lifts it. If yu can lead me to the rest of the parts would be nice . Thank you

Reminds me of:

Kverneland calls them "reversible" plows.

Guess that means you can call 'em what you want.

In UK they are known as reversibles. Ye Olde "conventional" type plows are becoming as rare as rocking horse manure over here ] like sickle bar mowers! ;) ]

Salford calls them "roll-over" plows.

Thank you for posting that link. I love looking at Agricultural machinery websites that I am not familiar with. I see it is Canadian but I nearly did a double take when I saw that Renault Atles puling that big reversible plow. Their plows look really rugged but Oh compared with what is produced over here, their disc harrows look a bit frail!
Take a look at these beauties!
