Kubota hydro trans - cold weather

I just upgraded from a Kubota G4200 to a G2000 (gas version of the diesel G1800,G1900) and for the most part am very happy, but I have a cold weather hydro question. On my older G4200, I could start it up in sub freezing weather (with a block heater and some glowing) and the hydro transmission would operate immediately. On the G2000, it needs to warm up for a couple of minutes before it will even move. I replaced the fluid with Kubota's Super UDT ($$$) along with a new filter and saw only a minor improvement.

Is this normal for the G1800,G1900,G2000 series or should I be worried?

I am no Kubota guy, but I would let any hydro I owned warm up a little in cold weather. It is just plain good practice whatever color paint is on the outside.

I agree, old Kubota manuals use to say, at least 15 minutes of warm up before use...

I have JD 2510 and it wouldn't move this morning as well. I let it warm up for 15 minutes and that didn't help. Temp was -11 and slowly climbing. I will try again this afternoon when I have more time.
