Howdy folks,

Finally decided to figure this picture posting thing out. Here's a little picture for you all to enjoy. Got the R and the woodsplitter out yesterday. It snowed the whole day and wind blew but it was sure a fine time. Loved to watch those great big flakes fallin. I used to use our 420 JD to split since it is the only one we can move the splitter with but that extra pressure the R provides just can't be beat when you're bustin up some stubborn oak. God bless.

Can you drive it over here (North GA)? I've got some pine that needs splitting. And there's no snow.

Looks like fun. I don't know why, but I've always liked the model R, and I'm a IH guy for the most part ;')

Try this instead. Since the R is running and burning fuel anyhow and they are pretty fuel efficent park it in your garage and vent all the exhaust outside. You maybe able to heat the house really warm on just the amount of fuel used to split the wood and forget all the extra work.

I got one like that behind an M Farmall on a trailer frame with another two wheeled trailer behind it and I can split wood, throw it back on the trailer and pull the whole thing to the house. Looks like I would lift that three point up a bit to keep from having to bend over. An old man's back ya know. Later, Harley
