Got 12 inches of snow overnight and had to go out at 6:30 AM to clear it to get the bus out. Then the County Plow was late and I did not have to do the run with the kids. Took allmost 4 hours to clean up the place. Now waiting for more snow to fall off the roof to clean up! I allways wonder why some put there tractor up for the winter mine gets more time on it then! Got a heated cab on my 4x4. Only trouble is it gets all fogged up in cold temp. Always have to carry a supply of dry rags. No snow in NE Wisconsin yet. Like taxes, it will come. Craig

Try a fan, out of an old Car heater , to blow across the glass.

Hey, it's all a matter of attitude!

One of your countrymen, Hank Thoreau said, "The mass of men lead lives of quiet desperation." But he only lasted a year and a half on his homestead when he went back to the land. He had some hassle over taxes and ended up in jail, too. Some people are just never happy, no matter what they are doing, and some live a long time because of their outlook.

Enjoy the snow, Willy.

Base on your pictures and your coments about plowing in blowing snow I think I would think about getting cab on your tractor. I have a heated cab on my 4020 and it makes it almost a pleasure to plow snow.

The blowing snow quit right as I was finishing the job. I would like a cab but then I would cook during the summer using it. Mark H.

Wow! Where's this? Here in Pennsylvania there's been no snow and warm temps.

I live in Eastern Washington State at the 2,800 ft level. Hope we get a lot this year and end the 6+ year drought to fill my Lake back up again! Mark H.

What town? I'm out of Chehalis, halfway between Seattle and Portland. Pretty much the last real enclave of dedicated rednecks on the west side. Especially eastern Lewis County- its the "little Appalachia" of the west.

^ years of no run off water took its toll. All we need is a 4 ft snow fall and a quick melt and it will be full. Last year was a slow melt and it went in the ground. Mark H
