Hello,
If you visit the web site HeiderTractors.com, click the index/stories/motor cultivators or Rock Island-Heider motor cultivator. The first article lists various manufacturers and the second refers just to the Heider Mfg. Co. motor cultivator. Enjoy.

Most of the major companies of the time manufactured motor cultivators. I know our family owned a avery 2 row model from about 1915 or 20 it used a LeRoi engine to I believe but am not 100% sure of that...

I have seen IH models, Avery Models, Moline, JD tried to build one, INDIANA tractor (silo company) had one... were like these new fancy sprayers made today.. most every company has them but only the really big farms can afford them...

Heider made motor cultivators in the early twenties. They were Model M, 5-10 HP. They were made in two row and one row models. They used Le Roi engines and were friction drive.
