Looking for 15 X 38 rims

I'm putting 16.9 X 38 tires on my JD 4010 and I'm looking for the proper rims to go along with them. I've been searching the web and I can only seem to find 14 X 38 or 16 X 38 rims. I'm reasonably certain though the 16.9 take a 15" rim.

Thanks,
Eric

Your 100% right about the 16.9 X 38's needing a 15" wide rim. The only "Approved" substitute according to the Ag Tire & Rim Manufacturer's Association is the 14 X 38. But they will work on a 16 X 38. Don't be afraid to loom at "Other Colored Rims" for your 4010, there was only two companys making rear tractor rims back then and ALL double beveled rims are the same.

Usually John Deere rims are strictly even numbers. The 16.9 will work very well on a 16" rim. I have a set of 16.9 Traction Field & Road on 16" rims and it really makes them look beefy. They also seem to pull better than they did on 14" rims.

Check out millertire.com one of the YT sponsors(listed under marketplace). They advertise tires and rims for nearly all farm tractorsl
