Hi Leland,

Suprisingly, the loader isn't all that heavy; they are pretty easy to muscle around when you are takin' em off and on.

That underbelly mount is the heavy part. It is constructed from heavy full 4" angle iron.

Yes, the nice part about these old loaders is that the biggest share of the weight is transferred to the rear of the tractor.

1st loader like that I have ever saw, looks like a monster at first, we don't have to much stuff like that in midwest. It also looks like it's hard on front end as big as bucket is.

Yup, moved thousands of tons of stuff with one of those on a 4020 back in the early 80s. Packed all the silage from a couple hundred acres, loaded manure, dug holes, trimed trees etc. What a loader!

The F-25 must have been a longer loader?

I had to use a shoe horn to get my 656 under a F-10 and seems to me that I had to 'lean the thing forward' to make it clear that front end. Left rear tire was awfully close to the tank too.

This picture looks like a 686 with a 310D; that makes this tractor another 7" longer than a normal 656 and it appears there is all kinds of room around this tractor.

The Ferguson 30 should fit just fine, in the bucket. Just joking.

Well mabe, but it would be too heavy for the loader.

We did have an F-10 first on a TE-20 and then ona TO-30. Wore the loader out but not the tractor.
