One year ago I took a week vac. thanksgiving week, as many of you know the next Mon. morn my wife of 34 1/2 years had a stroke and died on Fri night Dec 5, 2003. Early in Jan. I was involved in an accident by a hit and run driver in Richland , Mo while on my RT., that night got very crazy. Later in Jan. or early Feb I got a new truck, one night I misplaced my spare keys before I went to work. I managed to lock myself out of my truck at Versales, Mo. at 11:00 PM. $50 and 2 hrs later I was back in. Three or four months ago I had my head it a dark place one night and missed a corner so in trying to turn around I backed in the ditch, two full grown smokie bears and $45 for the tow truck I got out. Last Monday night I stopped at the convence store in Laurie, Mo. about 10:30 PM. Went to the bath room got a diet DP and a couple of other things, walked out side and no truck. Called the Police about 10 min a young lady in a police car drove in I walked out she said are you Bumper to Bumper I said yes she said get in we have found it. It was 4 tense of a mile up the high way in another convence store that was closed, nothing distrubed except two rolls of paper towels were setting in front of the drivers seat. I know I know I should not have left it unlocked and running. Any way I can use a lot less happenings this next twelve months. Happy thanksgiving, Jim

Leland,
Well...Some of that sounds like the stories that you tell over a cold beer and might even seem funny later on, but losing your wife sounds pretty devastating!
Hope things take a turn for the better.
