I just bought a 53 Jubilee and on the left side of the trans case about 2 inches down from the top is a hole about an inch or so around. There is nothing covering this hole. I have seen other pictures of Jubilees and where the hole is in my tractor, it appears to be a knockout or something on theirs because it is still intact and there is no hole. Does anybody know what this is and what do I do with it? thanks

Could be the shifter hole for an aux tranny such as a Sherman, that is no longer there.I would measure the hole and plug it with a frost plug or rubber expansion plug(plumbing store).A Sherman shifter hole would on the left, about 5-6 inches
ahead of the running board.

Hey, Thanks for the info. After you posted I started looking on ebay and found a jubilee with sherman tranny and that is exactly what the hole is for.
