help. looking for information please. in my past as a dairy farmer i seem to remember hearing that certain tractors may have used a hercules rxc engine as power. my hercules is in a 1937 fire truck we are restoring at westlake fire dept in ohio. trying to find parts for the engine is difficult at best. any leads to old tractor parts for this engine may prove to be helpful. thank you in advance todd spriestersbach

It shouldn't be too hard to find what you need. Here are a couple links to get you started. If you aren't able to come up with anything I have a very good WXLC that should fit.

thanks. planning a trip to see rock and dirt for a rebuilt rxc. His is only a single ignition system but it should bolt up ok for replacement. C and H has a new water pump that might also come in handy.

I have a Cockshutt 35 with Hercules GO-198, and have looked into Hercs in other tractors. Not too many were used. I don't recall anything using an RXC, but that doesn't mean there wasn't one. But I'm thinking it could be even more rare than your firetruck!

What do you have for a fire truck? I have a 1937 Buffalo that has a RXC Hercules.
