Something happened to my computer that I need help with. For some reason, everything (on email and internet hookups) went "bigger" in print. Almost seems like it is in Safe Mode which happens when I shut it down improperly but it's not as fuzzy or grainy (but is a bit that way). I need to scroll across to read whole pages. Any idea as to what happened and how I can get it back the way it was (smaller with whole pages showing)?

I'm with Teej, go to View and change accordingly.

Mike, my home computer did that a couple years ago except the font was about ten times what it should be. I tried to change fonts in every program I could find and I had a couple of techies look at it. The fonts was so big that it was difficult to check anything. I ended up just getting a new computer. Wish I had an answer for you. Maybe one of the below suggustions will help. Good luck.

Same thing happened to me not long ago.

If you're using Internet Explorer, go to View, and there is an option for text size. Change it to a smaller size until you find the one that is what it used to be.

If it is happening on all programs it probably means that the graphics resolution got changed, maybe by some program that was installed.

Go to START>SETTINGS>CONTROL PANEL>DISPLAY>SETTINGS and change the screen area back to 800 X 600 or 1024X 768, whatever looks good for you.

Something like that happened to Hiram Dortmunder who use to live down track from me. In his case though, it was after he'd been a partying at the Pink Gopher over to Whitehorse. Nobody knows what happened but when he waked up everything looked about three time bigger than it was. He finally moved to one of them countries what name ends in "stan" I can't remember which one and became a pre-school teacher.

If you have a mouse with a wheel in the center hold the CTRL button and then move the wheel and the print should get bigger or smaller depending on what way you go. If you have Explorer go to view and then text size. Hope this helps.

Matt, I wished I knew that before I spent 2oo.oo on glasses. Now if some one could figure out how to do that to a shop manual I`d be happy. RT

That will depend on how you have your settings set for your mouse.

That's cool. Where do you go to pick up tricks like this one? Is there a book or website or something?

With no programs maximized (desktop visible), right click on an open area of the screen, away from any icons. Then left click on "properties", and choose "settings", and adjust your screen area.
