Just keep it on your end of the state, we received around an inch of rain the last day or so, and like it that way, but it may be white here in the morning. I live 17 miles east of Norfolk. chris

Hey Allan sorry about leaving the barb wire gate open last night, most of that white stuff went right through it from here. Really think it came up from ColoKen's way first. Let see fall one day and winter the next day, to be 18 tonight, was a high of 30 today. Same thing hit just about time the kids were about to start their goodie run.
Bob-

I could go out a take a picture of my blooming tropical hibiscus or the strawberry plants I planted last week if you would like. If you hurry I will even let you help me cut my grass today.
Bring your shorts; Its only 8:30am and is already 79deg.

Do not want to rub it in but I could not resist.

Allan;
You must be pretty stingy with the treats if you keep getting tricked like this.
Well...that ol' H will have a good time out playing in that stuff. Just be sure you keep any more tricks from Ma Nature down in NE for the rest of the season! ☺☺☺

Hi Rau,

This is gonna be a heavy snow year; I can smell it. :>) But, this is a good thing, we need the moisture.

I agree, and I'm ready for it. A lot of snow is a PITA for livestock producers, but there's no denying the benefits in terms of moisture. And it isn't so bad if it gets cold and snowy and stays that way. The constant up and down of temperature seems to be what's hard on the livestock moreso than straight cold weather. BTW Allan, where are you located in NE? I'm a Nebraksa boy myself. We might be neighbors, lol. You can drop me an email if you like. deeremeyer@yahoo.com

Just took the best (besides the H) tractor farmall made, added some of their newer ideas to their older tractor and made a goodun. It don't have a live PTO on it, but I have baled big round bales with it three years in a row, and last year had a guy stop and walk out in the field, look at that 5x5 New Holland baler and tell me "You know you can't pull that baler with that M with no live PTO?" Well I just looked back down the line at eight or ten bales and told him" Yeh you're probably right." and then went right on baling. Just takes a quick foot and a fast hand pulling it out of gear while it wraps. Harley
