Can anyone direct me to an article on 90 Cockshutt tractors? I have a 1939 90 Cockshutt-Hart-Parr, but I can't even find a picture of what the paint is suppose to look like.

Thanks for the info on the "90" The only thing I know is what"s on the brass block tag: Cockshutt Hart - Parr 90 509709 28-44 oliver Farm Equipment Co. -Hart-Parr works Charles City, Iowa

I just looked up the serial number in "A guide to hart-Parr, Oliver" and that"s all I had to go on for saying it was a 1939. The radiator casting say"s Oliver, but it could have been replaced even though it"s red and I can"t find any green paint under the red. The rest of the tractor has been red under two coats of green. I can see the maple leaf and 90 with Cockshutt arched over it on the gas tank.
Any more info will be appreciated!!!!
Ken

Try looking up "80" or "70" models - more common, presumably same paint. It will look red, but may not have been.....
Btw, it won"t be a 1939 if it is a Hart Parr. They all became Olivers from about "37 when they were re-designated as 90s. Previous to that they were 28-44s (either Hart-Parr "30-"35, or Oliver-Hart Parr "35-"37).
There are probably not that many Cockshutt 90s around. Good old tractor. My Oliver 90 is my favourite
Hope this helps.
Regards, RAB
