I have just replaced my cracked head on my 656D and found that the fuel cells were driven out with a punch and damaged the surface the cone chamber sit against so the fuel cells won"t seat. I am getting blowby around both of the metal sealing rings. Is there any fix or do I have to get another head. I was considering making a seal ring out of copper so it will form a better seal any thoughts about that. My local deal was of no real help. It will take a new head gasket too if I have to pull the head.

Wouldn't hurt to try the copper sealing ring idea, sure beats pulling the head.
