Some Worthingtons used a Dodge Bros. engine I have been told.

Process of elimination - Not a Ford. Ford N motors are only 4 cylinder.

Where is the distributor located at ? Coming out the top center of the head ? on front of the engine ? Out the side ? LH,RH ? Does it have a tag on it saying it is a prestolite or delco ?

By no means definite but continental flat head 6 cyl. dist. out top, ford N early out front late out right hand side at front. I am not that familiar with the chrysler flat heads could it be one of these ? Got any old car repair manuals to look at the pictures and compare ? It might be a wakesaha I had a 4 cyl. in a forklift that had a dist out the left side. I think it was just standard delco remy cap and points and rotor. A lot of those old engines used delco stuff and most used all the same points etc.
