Found this on a web site.

The Worthington Mower Company made front drive, rear steer, golf course tractors based on the Model T Ford from 1919 to 1921. While production numbers are not available it seems likely that fewer than 200 of these model tractors were sold. From 1922 to 1930 they sold a front steer, rear drive, Model T tractor. Serial number records indicate that 1009 tractors were sold. The Model A Ford based tractor was in production from 1929 to 1933 with a production run of 430 units. The Model B Ford based tractor was in production from 1933 to 1939 with a production run of 1089 units. In 1939 Worthington began selling the Model C tractor with a 6 cylinder Dodge motor.

Why don"t you post a pic of your tractor so that any who recognize it can help you out?

Worthington Tractors are an unusual item to have. I have one and have only seen two others at tractor shows over the years.

The problem with this manufacturer is that they build tractors out of whatever parts were available. In the 1920's, it was Model T parts and in the 1930's, it was Model A parts. During the '40s and '50s they built tractors out of what ever was at hand. I have a Model G-6, SN 2582, which I am told was built around the mid-1950's, but cannot verify that. (If it will help you, my tractor has a Continental F162 4-cylinder Red Seal power unit coupled up to a Dodge [from what I am told] 4-speed truck transmission and rear end. It will probably do 50 MPH easily, but with a short wheelbase and without any suspension I have only had mine up to 35-40 MPH -- too scary.)

I believe mine is also a G-6 with a continental engine, built around 1958.
