Hello,

I have a 37 Farmall F-20 I am working on and would like to get painted. I have no skill or experience in painting and would like to find a person to do a quality job. I live in Ann Arbor, MI. Any suggestions???

Thanks,

Tony

Ken's Body Shop in Huron, Ohio does high quality work and specializes in antique tractors. They run ads in Antique Power and a couple other magazines I think. I am sure you can find a number by doing a google.

Call Washtenaw Community College and ask for the automobile division, whatever it's called. They will probably know someone. I just painted my TEA-20 Ferguson, and there wasn't much to it...getting 'em clean is the biggest challenge. Any good body shop should be able to to it for you, as well.

Tony,Why not try to find a body school or trade school. They will do a excellent job and might cost a little more than materials.

Here in Lansing, AIS Construction Equip. does dozers, heavy equipment. Got someone like that in Ann Arbor? Try Alden Enterprise in Okemos. 517-2443. They used to. They would know who might if they don"t anymore. Small shop, good guys. Excellent mechanics. Gus

Your best bet is to go to a local body shop some one you know that does good work . . they won"t come to you. you have to go to them.I do body work and restored my own tractor 1942 H . but but being so far away I can"t help you out . good luck in your search. JRB

I dont think you will get an answer here. I would suggest that you post your question on a political Forum.
