Pay attention to the location of your rear axle with respect to the "center" of the bed.

If you get too much behind the axle, it walks all over the road; can't hardly steer it.

You can prove what I say if you have a drag type tandem disc. Get some weights and load it front heavy. Get on the road in road gear and notice how nice it follows the tractor.

Now move the load to the rear making it tail heavy. It walks all over the road and if you're not careful it does the duck walk.

Same thing with these 16 ft tandem trailers that are so popular. Load em tongue heavy or loose them.

Mark

In my area, most farmers get their truck beds from Mooresville welding. It's a small, family owned business about 12 miles south of Indianapolis on hwy 67. They been in business for many years, do very professional work, and have lower prices than some of the larger companies. They build to order, so you can get pretty much what ever you want. I don't think they have a web site but their phone number is 317-831-2265. Jim.

I would be interested in your 20 ft bed. I may be able to come look at it on Wednesday. Can you shoot me your phone number again and I will call you on it.

Ryan
