Ok folks. I am looking into finding out what were the last largest gas tractors made. For example I am pretty sure the 4230 was the last largest Gas tractor made by John Deere. How about Oliver, Case, Allis, International, Massey, Ford, and others. Thanks for your thoughts.

How about an IH 766? Built until '76, could have a 85-horspower C-291 gas engine. The 686 was the last six-cylinder gas IH, built until '80, could have a 65-horsepower C-291.

I recollect reading somewhere that there were 17 4230 gassers made. Not 100% on this though.

If you include all 'spark ignition' tractors then the Minneapolis Moline G1050 at 110HP using LP-gas must qualify as 'large'.

I knew there was a MM that was big..

I was at a sale that a 2wheel drive moline was - they had the tractor fitted with 3 extra tanks.

they told us (neigbor swears it was true) the thing had 250HP and burnt about 12gal of LP / hour...
