If Bush says he has a plan for health care, the economy, etc.. Why did he not implement them in the first four years?

Kerry's plan of this $7000 family plan that families can buy into. Thats a load of crap. How can they afford that if for some families its over half their salaries?? And for the majority that don't have health insurance, there is a dang good reason. They don't have that kind of money to spare. If Kerry does get elected, maybe we'll all get a free bottle of ketchup.

The e c keeps politicians that are uneducated about agriculture from having an advantage. In Texas these idiots from the city were trying to get rid of farm tax exemption. Do you know what that would do to the local farmer? Come on, you wouldn't have a gallon of farm fuel to put in your tractor.

I agree, if the electoral college is done away with then the voter fraud will be even worse and it would decide the election for whoever cheated the most with fraudulent ballots. The reason A$$holes like J. Jackson said that the inner city voters were disenfranchied is because Gore lost period. The reason some of those inner city folks cant vote is because the idiot election officers there dont move fast enough for the people in line and they cant get everyone through the voting precinct in time, too bad for them, good for me.

Well, you won't be a gun toter if Kerry gets in. That is plain and simple. Visit the NRA website and see all the information they have backed up with references at the bottom of the pages. Those aren't empty promises.

Hey Joe, I decided a long time ago the only guy who was going to protect my gun rights was me! All these politcal types are sell-out con artists at best, and can be counted on to do the expediate thing, when the overnight polls tell them mood of the country. You have your guns because the politico's fear you and I would use them if they try to take them away. Amazingly, just what our Constitutional fore-fathers had in mind! Meanwhile watch your back while G.W. and that embarrassment we call an Attorney General erode all your other rights in the name of public safety. I'm ashamed to admit we spawned that lunatic Ashcroft right here in Mo. I voted for him 4 times only to find out what we have now. watch what they actually do, not what they say, about issues and people.

Amen aFORDable. Herr Kerry is a much better speech maker than Bush, but anybody can talk out both sides of their mouth and make a silk purse out of a sow's ear. Doing something is the big thing. Since he has voted repeatedly against all military spending, I wonder what he wants our boys to fight with? Squirt guns? Or like him, go over to the other side, sit down, have a bowl of rice and fishheads, and talk about it. I, like you, can't forget him for leaving in the middle of his duty. You and I stayed, not because we wanted to, but because we thought we were making a difference, Later, Harley

The Yankees did, 3-1; John Leiber pitched a great game and again, the Yankees have Pedro's number.

But as far as Bush and Kerry are concerned, I don't really believe that the election is as close as the media would like us to believe. I see more Bush-Cheney signs than Kerry-Edwards signs in my driving around up in our part of the country. (This doesn't hold true in such goof-ball areas like Ithaca, NY, home of Cornell University.) But the reason I don't think it's that close is that I have faith in my fellow citizens and believe that the majority of Americans have enough intelligence to realize what is at stake for our country and know that some of our greatest achievements and accomplishments will be lost of they elect Kerry. I beleve that the majority of Americans can see right through this "phony."

As a bumper sticker said: "Flush two Johns at the same time; vote for Geroge Bush."

I see the Cheney Rumsfeld Bush administration is collecting guns in Iraq, confiscating from private citizens. If we are spreading Democracy there, why are we confiscating their guns? Maybe we didn't write a Second Amendment into their constitution.

"But we don't just elect a president because he can talk well in an adversarial situation."

I would hardly call that an adversarial situation. Now if punches, kicks and the occassional shovel handle was involved - that would be an adversarial situation. It would also be a true test of how one stands up to pressure.

As for the "press" saying the country is more split now then ever before - obviously they have never a read an American history book.

I'd say Kerry. Bush seemed like he was on the ropes. All he could do is spout one-liners.

Whomever gets elected, lets hope they can fix the mistakes made under the current administration. Oh, that's right, the current commander-in-chief doesn't make mistakes. Yeah, right.

Bush summed it up with identifying Kerry's statements as empty promises. Seemed like Kerry was running for Student Body President of the High School. Free Cokes ON FRIDAYS!!!! Never will happen. Ask our neighbors up north how the national healthcare runs. Also, visit the NRA's website and see how much of a sportman Kerry really is. I think you've gotta vote for the lesser of two evils. I think Bush will at least defend our nation.

Guys, I'm Canadian, so from an outsiders standpoint, Kerry seemed to be much slicker and in full attack mode, Bush seemed to take the calm collected hometown approach.

I guess it depends what kind of a person you are to judge who won.

My choice would be Kerry, either one would be a godsend compared to the bozos that we elect up here. IMAGINE OUR PM DECIDED TO NOT SUPPORT THE US IN THE GULF..... ....Idiots
