Idiot cubes. Yeah, and I was the idiot.

Informed Management one more stunt like that and we'd take another run at that divorce court. :>)

Allan, Allan, Allan

Get in out of the sun!

You've been out there to long and your going loopy.

Cause there is no way I just saw a load of squares on your trailer unless your losing it.

Have you been to the Doc yet for your condition?

Gary

Okay, think you are right.

I'll try to get in to see him just as soon as I get this remaining 80 ton of our own hay hauled in. :>)

Sounds like you getting a decent amount of winter feed out there.

I thought I was gonna be OK but know I'm worried again.

Gonna cut and bale the oats to help replace my brothers hay. He is way short now. Lost his carry over and all of first cutting.

Hay is a little short to begin with around here.

i put some of them in my barn. about half of what i want in there. they are nicer to mess with when it's muddy or snow knee deep on tall kid. he is 6'8" so his knee is along way from the ground.

Like I've always said, there's a reason they call them idiot cubes!

Having said that, someday I hope to make a bunch of those to sell... my retirement plan is to have a small piece of land out here in the middle of nowhere, ND and cut and bale hay. That's about 25 years off, though... LOL

Hey Allan,

Don't get all worked up in a lather. It ain't worth it.

Take a couple of deep breaths, a double bourbon, and relax. You'll get over it in short order.

Pete

Now, Allen, no problem. Those cubes are like grandkids; wrestling with 'em will keep you young!

Come on now Allan- I think we've already put that many bales in the pickup! That's just a baby load, you coulda put another 3-4 layers on there fer sure!!

Heres a real train of hay, somewhere around 350 bales on 2 wagons... third party image

And don't forget this one, would have had more but the dew started to set so I couldn't get the full load... was shooting for somewhere around 220 fully loaded...

9 tier is the most I've put on a half ton, the rims were about an inch from the ground. Was 90+ bales.

Biggest wagon I've seen was 12 tiers, was dumb as it wouldn't fit under the power lines so we had to unstack it. It had front and back racks so could be loaded high.

9 high is the absolute max we'll ever go, but that's only if theres a cute girl in the tracotr seat now a days.... trouble is I ussually do have a cute girl driving, I just don't have to impress her anymore...

6 high is plenty for me, much more on top and you really don't gain much on the top couple layers.
