Hi Dug,

I'm not gonna strip this thing down and reroute the hoses, but this should give you an idea of how to use your Farmhand and another PTO driven implement at the same time.

The extension bolts to the tractor's PTO shaft with a 5/16" bolt.

Later,

Allan

Mornin',

Yes, this one is on my old H.

I've used these extensions on F-10s, F-11s, a H, 656 and also on a JD 60. The only thing I ever hooked to the rear was a JD feed wagon tho; always took the loader off if I needed the tractor for anything else.

Now that looks like a good idea,,, but wait till the shaft bends ever so slightly, that puppy will give you the hippy--hippy shakes,,you wont need to crap for a week,,,seen it happen, then tears pump chain loose,,then it gets real interesting,, pump and hoses go round in circles, oil down your shorts,,pto shaft on implement comes off and thrown 50 ft in air,,nice way to spend your sunday afternoon,,youll need my busch lite therapy ----- ----- ----- ----- ----- ----- ----- ----- ----- ----- ----- ----- -billyiron

Allan, I can't make out that hydraulic pump, where'd it come from? I've got an old Allis B that I don't use for anything other than a belly mower. The Woods L59 is driven of the side PTO. When I was putting up the fence around my house, was using the Deere to auger, and turnin around and using the loader to set the ties in the holes. The whole time I kept eyin that B settin there, and that boom pole lyin on the ground, tellin myself that if I mounted a pump to that rear PTO, and that boom to the back of the B, I could've had someone else droppin the ties while I kept punchin holes, then I could come back with the loader and helped or taken over.

I made the mount for the boom, and picked up a ton of angle iron to beef up the back so I can mount cylinders, but no hydraulic pump. Went online and looked at a few new ones, and can go that route, but... That B will handle a railroad tie no problem, just needs a couple of add ons, and I've got acres of posts that still need to go in.

Thanks for the photo, I sure like it.

Mark,
Dont know if you want a new one but they are still made. I think it is Prince that makes them. We have several implements that use that same style pump.

Hi Mark,

All self contained Farmhand loaders use these pumps with the "see-thru" drive. Since about 1946, I think, in one form or another.

Now, they are owned by AGCO, but if I'm not mistaken, they are still built down here in Ft. Collins, CO.

Later Dude,

Allan
