I have a 55 Gal plastic barrel I drain it into that way if I need it for a tire or some weeds I have it on hand. I jsut drained 2 tires not long ago and looks like I will need to find another barrel soon

I use it to kill grass on driveway, pull cores out and let it fly! kills grass for a long time.

I have a 52 Ford 8N and had my calcium pumped out at the local tire shop at no charge. I also had them break down my tires to check my rims..good thing I did, both rims were rusted through really bad from the calcium leaking from the tubes, I went ahead and replaced both rims and tubes. Calcium is some nasty stuff if it gets to your metal, might be somthing you want to think about....

Pour it on your gravel drive way, or spray it on a weed patch.

Usually when I have this issue I pay the company that is changing the tires to dispose of it.

Point is that it is a damned scam.

I fully understand the charge on the service call, the pumping the fluid out of the tires, etc.

However, that "disposial fee" is nothing more than an old fashioned rip because you're making money on the other end.

Oh, I see. Well in my defense let me say that I didn't read the post that carefully and catch the part about charging a disposal fee. I never thought about doing that, but then that is why I will never be rich. Back before I started selling Rimgard I would pump the fluid for no charge knowing I would sell it later. Now I have been dumping Calcium because I am running out of places to keep it so I am charging the pumping fee to take it out but am not charging a disposal fee. Must be why I keep getting more and more market share in my area.

Yeah, well, unloading a trailer load of small square bales that were boughten (when you just put up tons of hay yourself) would make many people grumble about life's injustices.

I think his point (and pardon me for being so audacious as to speak in your stead, Allan) is, if they're going to turn around and sell it, wouldn't it be the neighborly thing to do to pump it out for nothing, maybe sell the guy a new tube or tire sometime soon, and build a good client relationship? Sometimes ya get farther, faster by going slower...

'Course, if ya really need the cash that bad, maybe ya could just ask for a couple of bucks to tide ya over 'til payday.

My 2 cents' worth.
