Just wanted to let you guys know it has been a "good" day. I heard from Dillons Daddy this afternoon, Dillon will be going home from the hospital on Friday. He is going to have to have another skin graph, but it is scheduled for a later date. I want to say a special Thanks to all who said prayers, sent cards, gifts, and letters. It was greatly appreciated, and made a world of difference in Dillons recovery and gave the rest of the family encouragement and strength to deal with this situation. Once again "Thank You".

I'm a little behind, been gone for a couple days. But that is great news. The prayers will never stop. I have to agree with some of the others comments, a bad egg makes it bad for everyone. I retired from driving back in 1981. Well over a million miles under my butt, but I quite. Couldn't take the push of the distributors, shipper, etc. When you're on your fourth fake log book and they still want you keep going. It's nuts. I guess I said my 2 cents worth. Keep the prayers coming.

Dillon is 8 years old. He and his 11 year old cousin, and their grandmother were coming home from the lake in a 30' motor home, when an 18-wheeler crossed the centerline hitting them head on and plowing through to the end. The grandmother and the 11 year old lost their lives. Dillon has spent the last 2 1/2 months in childrens hospital with several broken bones, blod clots on the brain, and lost his right leg. However he has healed tremendously thanks to prayer, and good doctors. The driver of the truck left with no injuries, and admitted to driving over his hours, over the speed limit, and tested positive to alcohol and cocaine. We are very lucky to still have Dillon in our lives. And we give credit to Prayer and the fine people on this discussion board on ytmag. Thanks

Its truck drivers like that guy that give the rest of them bad wraps. Not all truckers are so inconsiderate of other peoples lives. On my way home from Nebraska this past weekend a trucker wouldnt let a car enter from the on ramp. We were at a dead stand still south of Dallas and the car was being quite curtious. What difference is one car going to make when we all knew it was a 1.5 hour delay? The trucker might have even bumped the guy too. Needless to say our great DPS in Texas arrived and pulled the trucker to the side. What he charged him with who knows? Anyway I really do hope that whatever state youre in will prosecute that guy for vehicular manslaughter or the like. And for all you decent law abiding truckers thank you for keeping America rolling safely. And may God be with Dillon and his entire family. My prayers go out to y'all. Caleb in TX

Caleb if you only knew the real truth, shippers make most push a lot of runs to the max don't blame the drivers blame the whole system.Unless you have spent time behind the wheel you will never know .And your story at end of ramp I will bet the car had a yeild sign did he not so he had to wait his turn .Thats what yeild means I would love to haul you around for a week or 2 and let you see the truth.
