First off, I didn't intend to start a huge posting war on politics. I was just trying to get people's thoughts on the debate and let my thoughts be known. Guess I shoulda known better. From this point onward I'll try to limit my political posts to responding to other political posts. Now, onward.

The place I work for has an 8300 but the field boss hates green with bottomless passion. He's gonna have the company trade it in for an mx255 this week. Does anyone have any experiance yay or nay on the 8320 or mx255?

I drive the 8300 often and think it's a fine tractor. I've also driven an mx110 quite a bit. Obviously, there's a HUGE size differance but is there much of an operating differance?

We are green blooded too, as is pretty much everyone else around here, but case IH dealer is throwing some pretty good deals around, we are interested in trading our 8120 f0r a 8520 the IH man is 20,000 bucks cheaper for a MX285, a guy who was also green bought a MX 215 and said its a good tractor lots of power, but I wonder about resale, I,sure hate to give up 20 grand if that IH will do all the deere will do,,,,, ,,more confused than ever
