Thanks Fudd (and everyone). I've got a severe pain under my left rib - I can hardly move or walk and it's been 48 hours. I guess I'll go see the doc tomorrow. I'm the opposite of a hypochondriac so I tend to wait until I feel like I'm on death's bed before I call the doctor.

Kim,

My first wife had that same exact problem except at an area somewhat lower down.

She reports that after she dumped me, the pain just seemed to dissipate all on it's own. :>)

Kim, do you just have one rib on the left side? That may be the problem. Get well soon.

If you fall into a deep sleep and wake up with a rib missing, you better look around and see if there isn't an extra man kicking around!

Good luck, hope it's a simple pull or any of those common things. I'm like you with doctors.... :) I've been nursing a pulled shoulder all summer - my wife can't complain, as she got the same thing about the same time, & doesn't go in either. ;)

I certainly hope that you're feeling better, myself. I'd tell ya a joke, but laughing might make you hurt in a wrong place, and I'd be in trouble. Get well soon, and thanks much for YT.

Hot water with lots of fresh lemon squeezed in might relieve the pain. Its a PH thing. If that works there is a few other things you can do as well.

Good luck
