case vac questions

new to forum, bought vac at auction, no tag on dash, need info on how to trace casting # and where to locate on the tractor. any help would be nice, i need air filter housing, or alternitive.

Unfortunately there is not a lot that we can tell you without the sn of the tractor. There is a number stamped into the engine block which is a serial for the engine but the only place the tractor number can be found is the dash. Perhaps if you posted a pic on the case forums we could give you a ballpark by looking at it.

Have a nice air filter housing (top filter part and lower cup) for a VAC here, all chemically boiled and steamed out and the outside has been bead blasted and primed. I do NOT have the upper stack tube that slides down over the stub on the air cleaner. I have removed the hide feature from my email address so just hit on the blue name link above to get hold of me. I am leaving in about 3 hours and won't be back till late Wednesday so if I don't get back to your response till then you'll know why. I live in Alberta, not too far away from you.
