Got a computer question here. I have a typed document here that I want to ad a couple of diagrams to in the body of the document. The document is typed into Microsoft Word Pad and then stored on my hardrive. I have access to a scanner if that helps. Anyone out there be able to walk me how this would be done?

Draw the daigram, scan it if you do it by hand, save as a jpg or bmp. IF you use a draw program, save the file as bmp or jpg.

Open your wordpad document and click the insert button, select object, then you can choose the file from the menu and insert it into your document.

You can then move it around if you want.

I have done that a lot. I scan the diagram, save as a picture, then add the picture to the document. Rather simple.

Any details on how to add that diagram into the body of the document?

You should be able to just drag your diagram from whatever program you are using to view it, right into Word Pad. I tried it using a .jpg image opened up in Internet Explorer and was able to drag it over into Word Pad.
