Neighbors,

Why don't you people post a picture of yourself up on here so I know who I'm lying to from day to day?

It would make it a whole lot easier for me to keep my stories straight. :>)

Allan

Hey! If I posted my picture and your wives/girl friends saw it, they'd leave you quicker than ice cream melts on a July day!! I used to be able to handle a lot of them but anymore, only a few at a time. I don't want you guys mad at me for wrecking your marriages/relationships!

Dave,

I used to have that same trouble. Went on for years on end, women after me from all directions.

Then, I woke up and had to go out and milk the Holsteins.

Absolutely.

Had an ex socalled friend that was the biggest liar I ever met in my life. But he could tell the same lie 6 different ways and remember each way. The jist for the day depended on who was listening and how he felt.

One day I told him that talking to him was a total waste of time. Can't tell when you're lying and when you are telling the truth which is seldom.

Mark

Back when I was in college, I took some broadcasting courses. One professor took me aside and told me than, truth be told, I had a face that was tailor-made for radio.

And a voice made for telegraph.

That's when I switched to journalism classes.

As you can see, I used to be somewhat younger in 1964.

NC,

You just are not paying close enough attention. He is not milking that cow.

He is just positioning his face in the proper position, waiting for that tail! :>)

Yes.... I bet it did not take him very long to learn that you put the bucket farther under the cow and bury your face in the cows side. That way you only get smacked on the back of the head instead of the face.

Aw heck,

I tried leading ya astray a couple of times, but ya got all huffy and wouldn't budge so I've pretty much givin' up on tryin' to corrupt ya. :>)

Hottern' a banshee up here....I thought we were into September, but guess not.

Good news is that we finally got 3 1/2" of rain spread out over three days so maybe we'll get a good wet winter too. Hope so.

Wheat boys still can't get into the fields yet and I know that they are probably gettin' a little nervous, as I see the drills all a settin' at the ends of the plots.
