I saw this set up for a people mover recently. It allows very easy installation of a modest suspension system on a 4 wheel wagon frame. I have been looking for something like this. But the person who had this on his people mover couldn't tell me much. He said it was an Amish company that made the parts and he thought the word "Pioneer" was part of the company name. Does anyone have any knowledge of where these parts can be obtained?

Just a thought - I have an old hay wagon built on a running gear made from an old pickup truck - springs and all. Wood blocks have been placed to keep suspension from bottoming out on heavy loads, but son says this is the nicest riding, wagon we have, and easiset to load, due to the spring suspension.

Bruce – Kinda interesting - never seen anything like that on a wagon before!

How fast do plan to pull your wagon? We run a half dozen people mover wagons built on old wagon gears (no suspension). The wagons operate along unimproved dirt lanes at 5 - 6 mph without difficulty. So long as the tires are not inflated rock hard the passengers’ ride is actually quite comfortable.

Bob, I anticipate speeds of 2 to 10, similar to what you are doing I'm sure. There are always a few bumps to jar a person, around here anyway. I guess these spring suspensions are available in different weight capacities. If you have or know of particularly clever people mover designs, I would appreciate seeing or hearing about them.
