This was the first time I have made it to the Tri-State Engine and Tractor Show, in Portland IN. What a great show! We had some rain and mud, but didn't put a damper on a terrific show. Nice demonstrations, plenty of room, tons of tractors and engines, parts and more. Great food!! I'll try to post some pictures soon if I can figure out how. The show commitee and volunteers really were outstanding!!

Scott. Yes Portland is truly an amazing show. We,ve been attending for the last 8-10 years. There have been some major changes all for the better. The president and his directors handled it all wonderfully. We believe that it is a collectors paridise. My wife and I had no trouble bringing home a truckload of "Neat Stuff". It is a fantastic experience. Robert.

My first time too.,but it won't be my last. Was there on Friday. It was a great show and just loved all the shade trees.$1 Cokes and great food reasonably priced.Steak sandwich-3 bucks. They added 15 acres this year and had 1,800 vendors.John Deere will be the featured tractor next year's date Aug.24-28.
Have been told the one at Elnora,In. the weekend after Labor Day weekend is almost as big???

Found most of the parts I needed for my Massey Harris 44-6 that I am restoring. All except some 1-1/4" rubber grommets.Anyone know of a source?

yes Scott it was a great show Friday & Sat up until it rained Sat After noon. They got 2 inches of rain Friday night that left some mud holes and a soft parking area for Sat. Then Sat after noon it came another down poor. We left the parking lot about 5:00 PM and the drive ways were nothing but lob lollies. We were camped about 7 miles South and it rained 3 More good heavy rains Sat night. Just Picked up my 2 tractors about 1:00 PM today and it was a stinking muddy mess there. They got over 6 inches of rain there this week end. Thanks to the good people there they had moved my trailer out to the black top where I could hook on to it with out too much trouble although it was setting in souppy mud and water. My tractors were not setting in water but there were some there that were.I got home at 3:15 PM this after noon.
