Wifes got a 98 Chevy Blazer. The combination flasher(turn signal clicker) stays on most of the time. Just kinda comes and goes except for when the brake lights are on, and that stops it. I've replaced the flasher and that didn't fix it. Everything works fine, all the turn signals and lights, just keeps clicking all the time. Any suggestions as to a fix?? Thanks

Casey

The switch is bad or there is a bad ground. Don't even think of going inside the steering column unless you have a service manual or you just might set off your airbag.

Auto electric shops are usually a better choice than a dealer for these things.

Sounds like a turn signal switch. Stepping on the brake by-passes the switch. Make sure that the switch is actually turning off. Replacement will require removal of the steering wheel.
