I have some pretty good hills on my place, but buddy you have some serious hills at Chadwick. My Sister and BIL lived there for a couple of years in the early 70"s. My BIL was shop teacher. Do you know Ted Melton, if you do they lived on the next hill in a traler house they owned. Then they moved it to Purdy. Ted and I were in the class of 1960 at good old Ash Grove High.

Yep, I know what you mean. We got 281 acres here, half up and half down. If we could just pick it up and shake the wrinkles out of it we would probably have about 460 acres or so. All our cows have long legs on one side and short legs on tother side from walking around the hills. One got turned around the other day and started back for her calf and got off centered and rolled for a quarter of a mile before she come up agin a tree. Now that"s steep. Later, Harley

Had some land like that in NY. It was so steep that you could't stand up on it when the grass was wet. Bales were easy to gather up 'cause they were all lined up against the bottom fence. Tipped a combine once. Dropped the header to keep it from going over. Called some men over from the next field and they rode on the high side while I drove it out like they were crewing a sailboat in a stiff breeze.(all true statements) Ed
