I am needing a piece of glass for the cab on my White 2-150. Would it be possible to cut it out of a larger piece of glass from the cab of another tractor?

Any good windshield shop should be able to make their own pattern and cut a glass for that cab. All the glass for our construction equipment is custom cut. Windshielf for a Cat loader is usually around $250 cut and installed.

If it is the kind with the plastic in between two layers of glass, score both sides of the glass. I"ve been told to soak a string with lighter fluid, lay it along the score, and light it on fire. I always just bent it enough to cut the plastic with a razor blade after I broke the glass along the score lines. I didn"t have money for new glass for my old pickup while in high school.

Nope
If it is tempered, it is impossible to cut w/o shattering.

If is bonded safety glass, you can't cut/snap through the butacite plastic.
