JD 7510, 6400 with loader, and 2130. 2130 planted just over 700 acres this year, with 880 total including hay, 85 cows milking.
The 6400 is getting a little tired with 12,000 hours on her, hoping to get a chance to trade her before we have to do the first engine or transmission job. She was running about 110 hp out of the factory and the rad wouldn't hold up, probably down to about 80 now.

JD 4320 and 4020. New Holland TS90 FWD with loader. Looking for a 35-50HP to ted and rake. The 4020 has a loader on it also. MF35 gas, dad's tractor and a IH cub, from those good old tobacco days of the 70's-90's setting in the back of the tool shed waiting to be restored.

How do you find the ts90?

I drove a cabless one the other week, seemed to struggle a bit on slight inclines with 17 round bales behind it?

We use it mainly as a utility tractor. It has a loader on it and is front wheel drive. The only real power test for it has been a 12foot aer-way with a 13ft chain harrow behind in soybean stubble and it handled it as well as our 4020 with duals but not as well as our 4320(119hp) with duals.

I see that you have a number of JD Hi Crops down there in sugar cane country including a 4240 H-C. How common are 4440 and 4050 H-C's down there? I have never ran across a picture of either but I understand they were made but were much less popular than 4240 or 4250 H-C's. I believe the 4050 H-C was cancelled due to lack of demand. I was just curious if anyone knew if there were any 4050's around with the later 359 turbo engine or were they only made with the original 466 NA engine used in very early 1983 to ... regular row crop 4050's?

Hi Dan,
There are lots of the 4440 and 4250 H-C's down here. I have never seen a 4050. Lately they are phasing out the 4440-50 series with the 7420 etc. with MFWD and the big tires on the front. The 4X4 with the H-C works well for the way we farm now. They are becoming very versitle and can do many jobs around the farm.

Ford 2N for garden, mowing, snow clearing, blading, etc, etc. IH 666 w/loader and Case 1030 also w/loader. The little 2N gets used the most, then the 666.

Green tractors for farming, MF, F, MH for hobby, and the Case is setting exactly where dad parked it 25 years ago, so as to cover up the giant oil slick where it leaked all the tranny oil. John

Gentlemen I sit in Awe of all the tractors you own. I own one JD2150 with a loader that is great. I traded in a JD1120 for it. I moved to a 25 acre property and use it to cut the fields and snow removal. I can't wait till I can afford to redo and repaint it. And yes my wife and I are originally from the City, so she thinks the tractor is pretty sexy
Take care all

One of my cousins farmed 500 acres of crops and ran a 100+ cow herd for years with one tractor. He claimed he only had one butt and only needed one tractor! He did trade for a new one every two or three years, and traded work with another fellow for hay baling. He'd combine the other fellows grain for hay baling.

Hey Tim -
Don't feel that way, soon enuff you to will have a stable full. I only had one til couple yrs. back.

I have an Oliver 550Dsl, Oliver 1750 (paying it off) ACD10, AC G, Farmall H, Farmall 140. I use the 550 (my favorite) for all heavy work till the 1750 is mine free and clear. The 140 and D10 run the U-PICK. The G will be put to work this spring and the H was just because.

Kinda like that Dolly Parton song "Coat of Many Colors".
