Does anyone know where you can get forks for a JD 145 Loader. I could get more use of my bucket tractor if I had forks for it.

I took 2x4 C channel, about 39 to 40" long. Drilled two 3/4" holes, one about 2" from end and the other about 12" from the end. Then drilled two matching holes in bottom of bucket and bolted the channels to the bucket. They are easy to bolt on and off.

But ... they are on a Model 75 loader with my JD 950, which is not as strong as your 145. At least it was a quick and cheap solution.

BTW, you are right that forks are a real help around the homestead!

The dealers around here told me they can"t sell them because of liability issues. I made a set out of rect. tubing (2" x 4") I think. They just bolt in the back of the bucket and rest on the front. So far so good.
