Moving from North Dakota to Bullhead City, Arizona. My wife and I have teaching jobs lined up there, no luck finding jobs around here...

Anyway, wondering if I will find any old tractors or engines around there? Or anyone that I could stop by and chat with... Email me at smgussey@yahoo.com

Thanks, Steven

There is an old collection along the highway in Wikieup, AZ, that would be a nice excursion drive from Bullhead City. There is a group called the "Early Day Gas Engine & Tractor Association" that has 4 different tractor shows during the winter months in Phoenix-Tucson area. Unfortunately, they haven't been posting on the internet. One show is in Buckeye and the last show of the season is in Apache Junction, usually the first weekend in March. There is also a show (small, I think) in Tombstone in October. It's listed on YT's show schedule for AZ; we're hoping to go there this year.

Where are you from in ND? I'm from just north of Fargo. E-mail me anytime; I'll try to get the show schedule as soon as it's available.

There is quite a bit of interest in both tractors and engines in AZ. Pretty scattered out statewide, but Wellton and Quartzite both have early in the year shows which are close to Bullhead. Phx., Tucson and several of the smaller towns all have clubs and most all of them are fun clubs. You will find that all the activity here is mostly in the winter months. We have a sort of "down under climate here". Also Tulare, CA has an outstanding show. You do have to travel a little farther in this country-it is probably more spread out than you are used to. Jack
